"Journey Through the Subway: A Collage of Thoughts and Observations"
“ACES Blog Meeting Exquisite Corpse Narrative” by Prakriti, Manas, Swornima, Upama, Brianna, Ana, Abdulla and Parizoda.
This morning, while I was coming to the college, I saw a strange man on the subway. He was wearing an orange shirt. The guy looked exhausted. It must have been the subway ride.
I chose to walk. However, it took very long, to walk. I walked until I couldn’t anymore and eventually sat at the park to do my favorite activity people-watching.
Watching the lives of new people exempts me from my evil past and thoughts. So I analyze the morality of the strangers based on one frugal activity they do in the park.
People-watching is one of my favorite hobbies to do. I see different emotions and activities that help me sway away from evil thoughts.
Every time I am at the park I feel like I can disconnect from everything and focus on myself. I like to reconnect with nature.
I love looking at the sky. Sky gives me hope. Hope from living with positivity.
I really feel like I’m going to fail my computer major this semester.
In the end, I guess watching strangers at the park is my secret recipe for avoiding that dreaded computer major. Who knew 'people watching' would become 'major' in my life goals?
