ACES Student Carmen Torres' Graduation Means More Than Just a Degree
Carmen Torres (‘20) just graduated in May as a Human Relations major, with a minor in Criminal Justice. Her degree is remarkable not only because of the challenges she and her cohort faced with the COVID-19 pandemic, but also because of her first-generation college graduate status and because her college experience was charged with loss, after the death of her older brother, Edwin Torres, during her sophomore year.
We at ACES are so proud of Carmen - Congratulations on your tremendous accomplishment!
