Join us for a lunch-time reading of poems by Devon Walker-Figueroa and Quincy Scott Jones. Lunch provided! (Room 601, St. Angela Hall)

Devon Walker-Figueroa is the author of Philomath (Milkweed Editions, 2021), selected for the National Poetry Series by Sally Keith. A graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop and the current Jill Davis Fellow in fiction at NYU, her work has most recently appeared in the The Nation, Ploughshares, LitHub, and Poetry.

Quincy Scott Jones has earned an M.A., an M.F.A., and $200 once working as a supermarket clown. He is the author of two books of poetry: The T-Bone Series (Whirlwind Press, 2009) and How to Kill Yourself Instead of Your Children (C&R Press, 2021). With Nina Sharma he co-curates Blackshop, a column that thinks about allyship between BIPOC artists. He is currently an educator in New York City and his graphic narrative, >BlackNerd<, is in the works.
